SanSe marks the grand finale of Puerto Rico’s festive holiday season. It began as a humble religious procession in honor of Saint Sebastian, growing over decades into the island’s most anticipated cultural celebration.
From January 15–18, 2026, Old San Juan will come alive with colorful “cabezudos” (giant papier-mâché heads), live music, artisan markets, and street food that captures Puerto Rico’s creative spirit.
