Norfolk Caribbean Festival

 

Carnival Package Includes

  • Ticket into the parade and Cultural Village (Cultural Village has vendors that you may purchase food from at your own expense, and at no additional cost a stage performance from various Caribbean artist).

 

  • Ethnic Essentials Meet and Greet Brunch at the Sheraton Hotel, located on the parade route (just minutes away from the starting location for all masqueraders to meet up), Parking for the Meet and Greet / Parade is not included however if you pay to park in the hotel garage there is usually a flat fee for the entire day).
  1. Breakfast Included / Boxed Lunch
  2. Opportunity to Meet and Take Pictures with other Masqueraders before the event starts.
  3. Safe location to get dressed (All personal items are the responsibility of the owner).
  4. Cash Bar (Although this is Carnival, drinking is not allowed on the parade route. Ethnical Essentials will have a Cash Bar located inside the Banquet room so that you can purchase and drink responsibly before the event.
  5. Meet and Greet is a guaranteed event, rain or shine. For your safety, the city of Norfolk has the right to cancel the carnival parade and cultural event in the event there is inclement weather. Becoming a member of Ethnical Essentials Mas Band guarantees the Meet and Greet Fete Party, as this is a Private Event hosted by our organization. Meet and Greet will start at 7:00 AM and will end at 12:00 PM. You are not required to attend this event; however there will be no reduction in your price package). All Masqueraders must be at the line up starting location at the designated time given to you by the group Band Leader / Coordinator. Line up times will be provided a few days before Carnival.

Early Registration will automatically place you into our T-shirt section and is included in the overall price. Registering early is limited to the first 20 people and allows you the option to pay for your section over the course of three payments. The fees are as follows:

  • The total price for our T-shirt section is $260
  • Register Early for only $50 and then two additional payments of $105
  • Early Registration ends 12/01/2019. Registration after that date will be $100 and one additional payment of $160
  • Option to upgrade your T-shirt to any costume section for an additional fee (Three months prior to the event date).
  • All fees are non refundable.
  • All Registrants will receive a free gift during the Meet and Greet Brunch.


And yet another Great LS experience Thanks to Amour Getaways ;)… they are awesome host and we always have a blast at their events. She was extremely helpful with helping us reserve a room at a great rate in the same hotel the event was located. They create a cool, friendly, and respectful atmosphere that will make everyone in attendance feel at ease. We invited our good friends from NYC to attend this event with us and it was truly a time to remember. We travel a great distance to participate in their events, but it is so worth it. We are looking forward to many more adventures with them.
