Agreement to Terms
By booking travel services through Amour Getaways, LLC (“Amour Getaways,” “we,” “us,” “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. This agreement applies to you and all members of your traveling party.
1. Reservations & Payments
- Early reservations are encouraged to secure preferred accommodations.
- A non-refundable planning fee of $150 per itinerary is required to begin services.
- Deposits (25–50% of the package total) are required to guarantee reservations unless otherwise specified.
- Final payment is due 95 days prior to departure unless otherwise specified.
- Accepted payment forms: credit card, bank wire, certified check, or other approved methods.
- Prices are subject to change until full payment is received.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- A $250 per booking agency cancellation fee will apply for cancellations made up to 95 days prior to departure, unless otherwise specified, plus applicable airline and supplier penalties.
- 50% of the total trip cost is forfeited for cancellations made between 94–61 days prior to departure, unless otherwise specified.
- 100% of the total trip cost is forfeited for cancellations made 60 days or fewer prior to departure, unless otherwise specified.
- Some packages, including certain airfare, tours, or retreats, are 100% non-refundable from the time of booking.
- All cancellation fees are in addition to supplier penalties and are strictly enforced.
3. Client Responsibilities
- You are responsible for providing accurate traveler information (including passport details, correct spelling of names, and dates).
- You are responsible for ensuring that all travelers meet passport, visa, health, and vaccination requirements.
- You must review all itinerary documents upon receipt and notify us of any discrepancies immediately.
4. Insurance & Health
- Travel insurance (covering medical, cancellation, and interruption) is strongly recommended and may be required by suppliers.
- Travelers assume responsibility for determining fitness to travel and participating in activities.
- Amour Getaways is not responsible for medical care, delays, or expenses incurred.
5. COVID-19 & Public Health
- You acknowledge travel may involve risks related to COVID-19 and other public health concerns.
- Requirements (vaccination, testing, masks, quarantine) vary by destination and are the traveler’s responsibility to comply with.
- Amour Getaways shall not be liable for costs, delays, or cancellations due to public health restrictions.
6. Supplier Relationships
Amour Getaways acts solely as an independent agent for suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour operators, etc.). We do not own, operate, or control these suppliers and are not liable for their acts, errors, or omissions.
7. Liability & Assumption of Risk
- Travel involves risks including injury, illness, property damage, delays, or unforeseen events.
- By booking, you and your traveling party voluntarily assume all risks.
- You release and hold harmless Amour Getaways, its agents, and employees from all claims arising from participation in travel services.
8. Chargebacks & Disputes
- You agree not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first attempting to resolve the issue directly with Amour Getaways.
- Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Puerto Rico and applicable U.S. federal law.
- Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Puerto Rico.
9. Changes & Revisions
- A $100 fee will be charged for revisions to confirmed itineraries, plus applicable third-party penalties.
- Late booking fees may apply to cover additional communication and expedited processing.
- Amour Getaways reserves the right to substitute services, accommodations, or itineraries when necessary.
10. General Terms
- Amour Getaways shall not be responsible for loss or damage to luggage, before, during, or after the tour.
- Airline baggage limits and fees vary and are the traveler’s responsibility.
- If any portion of this Agreement is unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
