ITINERARY

Flight departure date on 9/31

DAY 1: DUBAI on 10/1

Upon arrival at Dubai International Airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle for check-in.

Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 2: DUBAI on 10/2

Breakfast at your hotel and departure for a half-day guided tour. We start with Bastakyia, the old town district of Dubai. Learn everything about the local history and geography of the city when visiting the Dubai Museum, located in the ancient fortress of Al-Fahidi.

Another highlight you will experience is the local water taxis, called “Abras”, to cross the Dubai Creek. Enjoy the spectacular view of the city while heading towards the district of Deira. Here you will be enchanted by the large variety of exotic spices in the famous Spice Souk. You’ll have the chance to get a unique and affordable souvenir when you visit the adjacent Gold Souk.

We then proceed to the Jumeirah area, where we will have a photo stop of the awe-inspiring Grand Mosque of Jumeirah. Built-in the medieval Fatimid tradition, this stone structure is a tribute to modern Islamic architecture. After that, a photo stop at Burj Al Arab hotel and continue to Atlantis Hotel located at crescent of Palm Jumeirah. We will experience the Monorail which is a good vantage point to see the Palm Jumeirah. After that trip by train we will return to our bus. We will pass by the new area of Dubai Marina and Jumeirah.

For lunch, the group will enjoy a buffet-style experience before continuing our visit to Dubai. In the afternoon, we will transfer to the famous “Mall of the Emirates,” its biggest claim to fame is the Middle East’s first indoor ski slope, Ski Dubai. With its indoor ski area, one of the largest in the world, the Mall of the Emirates seeks to differentiate itself from the dozen or so other newly completed malls in Dubai and the surrounding Emirates. You will be allowed free time for window/shopping or shopping. In the evening, enjoy a dhow cruise dinner at Dubai Creek.

DAY 3: DUBAI on 10/3

Breakfast at your hotel. This morning we will start our day with a visit to an Emirati Falcon center to learn about how those species are important in this country. Then we continue for a half-day shopping tour at “Dubai Mall”. On the way, pass by the region of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest tower and the centerpiece of the Gulf region’s most prestigious urban development to date. Burj Khalifa will radiate out in a series of ellipses from the sky breaking tower encompassing residential, commercial, hotel, entertainment and the world’s largest shopping mall “Dubai Mall”. Free time for shopping. With more than 1,200 stores and a host of world-class attractions; the Middle East region’s first Galeries Lafayette department store, France’s leading fashion house and one of the top 100 global retailers.

A climb to Burj Khalifa will be proposed to all our guests as an optional experience, before enjoying lunch in Dubai Al Mall. In the afternoon, you will join a desert safari.

DAY 4: DUBAI – ABU DHABI on 10/4

Breakfast at your hotel. Departure for a full-day guided tour to Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. This comprehensive tour is the ideal introduction to the UAE capital and the island on which it stands. The name Abu Dhabi means “Father of the Gazelle”. Our first stop will be at Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest Mosques in the world; able to accommodate more than 30,000 worshipers. The beautiful Mosque is completely clad in marble and also features intricate Islamic decoration and carvings as well as extensive landscaping works.

We will continue our tour towards downtown Abu Dhabi. We will also visit the Al Hosn Fort, the ancestral home of the Al Nahyan and the symbolic heart of Abu Dhabi. We will proceed to the Heritage Village which houses a small museum and depicts the traditional daily activities of the Arab community prior to the discovery of oil. Lunch will be served in a buffet style restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will drive along the spectacular Corniche, past gleaming white mosques, glass-clad offices, and elegant high-rise apartments to the tip of the breakwater for a superb view of the city’s magnificent skyline. The remaining part of the afternoon will be devoted to driving through the famous giant Saadiyat Island project where the Louvre Museum is built to complete the image of Abu Dhabi as a cultural city. The tour will continue towards the Louvre Museum, the Louvre Abu Dhabi is an art and civilization museum, located on the Cultural District.

After the visit, we will transfer to famous Yas Island which houses the Formula 1 Yas circuit, the Warner bros park & the first attraction park of Ferrari in the world. An impressive attraction park, the largest covered air-conditioned park in the world with a huge Red Ferrari sign as a landmark. Visit a Craft Centre in Abu Dhabi before return to Dubai. In the evening, dinner will be served at the hotel.

DAY 5: DUBAI – SHARJAH on 10/5

After breakfast, proceed for a half-day Sharjah tour. This tour will take you to Sharjah, the cultural capital also known as the “Pearl of the Gulf.” You will pass by the King Faisal Mosque, one of the largest mosque in the Emirates. Then we pass by the renovated Fort of Sharjah, former residence of the ruling family. We then continue to the Sharjah Heritage Museum which conserves and displays the rich traditional customs and culture of Sharjah as a source of pride and inspiration to Emiratis and to visitors to the UAE.

Begin a journey of discovery through Sharjah’s rich and diverse heritage and explore traditions that have endured the test of time. You will see handcrafted works of art and objects that date back to a time when local people relied solely on fishing and pearling. Trace the development of education, currency and the early postal system. Discover the traditional skills and crafts relating to jewelry, costumes, herbal medicines, music, and folklore.

After the visit, it’s now time to explore the colorful Souk Al Arsa,set up in a traditional way. You will also have an opportunity to see how the traditional Omani Halwa (sweet) is made in one of the shops in Souk Al Arsa. Before returning to your hotel, you will have time for a quick stroll at the Blue Souk – a treasure trove of carpets, jewelry and handicrafts. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. You will have the opportunity to try Mandi which is a traditional dish originated from Hadhramaut, Yemen consisting mainly of meat and rice with a special blend of Baharat/spices. It is cooked in a pit underground. It’s extremely popular and prevalent in this area.

In the afternoon, you will join a desert safari. You will try our comfortable 4×4 vehicles with A/C to drive through the endless and spectacular sandy desert. In the evening you will reach a traditional Bedouin desert camp. The night will continue with a delicious BBQ-dinner in the sunset on the rhythm of traditional Arabic music, this is truly an unforgettable experience. In the late evening, you will return to your hotel.

DAY 6: DUBAI on 10/6

Breakfast at your hotel. Check out at noon. Depending on your departure time, you will be transferred to Abu Dhabi or Dubai airport.
